It was just south of Raleigh, NC in a cool little town, with an equally cool name, of Fuquay Varina, where I met up with Leigh Ann, her mom, and the rest of the girls for the start of their wedding day (go on, try saying Fuquay – pronounced FOO-quay – or as locals like to say FEW-quay – its addictive). We started out with a fun garden party at the Fuquay Mineral Springs Inn & Garden where all in attendance were styling in sun dresses and wide brim, one of a kind hats. It was definitely a great way to start the day.

After the girls got ready we headed to the church for the ceremony and some family photos which ended with Matt & Leigh Ann  chauffeured to the Bentwinds Country Club in a very cool Excalibur car. Special thanks has to go out to groomsman Ricky who was on the ball with his Jeep as we played chase car getting some awesome shots as they cruised through Fuquay. As expected, there is not much more that gets people excited than seeing a freshly minted husband and wife in a classic convertible in the middle of the afternoon. Waves, honks, cheers – we had it all!

The rest of the night went off brilliantly, with great food and dancing. I had a great time with everyone, especially working and laughing with Leigh Ann’s mom, Jan, who was such a huge help in making this day so great. Special props are sent out to Lori at the Bentwinds who did an awesome full day prepping and running everything super smooth and also to Tammy Tanner of Carolina Cake Company who is a lot of fun and was there for the cake cutting, and also makes a very yummy cake.
